FIFA World Cup 2026, Third Round Asian Qualifier - Australia v Bahrain

The Socceroos will face Bahrain at Robina Stadium this September, marking the first time Australia have played on the Gold Coast in their history. They continue their journey to towards FIFA World Cup 2026™ and a sixth consecutive appearance at international football’s showpiece event, being hosted in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Graham Arnold’s side will commence the third phase of qualification off the back of an impressive run of form throughout Round Two, with six consecutive victories to finish atop Group I – scoring 22 goals without conceding.
