Wet Weather Policy

We do our best to play through all weather conditions. However, the safety of our players is always our top priority.

Indoor Sports

Indoor competitions (basketball, indoor netball, indoor volleyball) are not affected by wet weather and will always go ahead as scheduled.

Outdoor Sports

For outdoor sports (football, outdoor netball, outdoor volleyball), we'll assess conditions on the day. If games are cancelled, your local competition manager will notify you via the SportUP app and email at least 2 hours before game time.

Cancelled Games

If a game is cancelled due to weather, we'll do our best to reschedule. If rescheduling isn't possible, a credit will be applied to your account for a future season.

Lightning Policy

All games will be immediately suspended if lightning is detected within 10km. Games will resume 30 minutes after the last lightning strike. If play cannot resume, the result at the time of suspension will stand.
