About SportUP
Our Mission
SportUP was founded with a simple mission: to help people feel happier, laugh more, and get fit with friends through social sport. We believe that sport should be fun, inclusive, and accessible to everyone, regardless of skill level.
Since 2013, we've grown to become Brisbane's largest social sports club, with over 5,843 members playing across 18 venues. We run 50+ competitions every week in Netball, Basketball, Football, and Volleyball.
Our competitions are designed to be social first. We play music at every game, award the most social team each season, and our referees focus on keeping things fun and fair. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player, there's a spot for you at SportUP.

Our Team
SportUP is led by Melodie Johnson, who started the club because she wanted a fun, social way to stay active after moving to Brisbane. What started as a single netball competition has grown into a multi-sport club spanning Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Our team of local competition managers are passionate about sport and community. They're at every game making sure everything runs smoothly and everyone has a great time.
